The centerpiece in jeopardy

After all the love and work put into this 75 yo. oak tree, it's livelihood is now jeopardized by the amount of rain we've been getting and the pooling of water around its base due to what looks like the city's backed up drainage system. Pumping water out until we can get a full inspection and assessment of the drainage problem. Continuing to be vigilant to help this tree thrive. This is worrisome and oh so upsetting.
